Super HD Heat Sensing CCTV
The Swann4980 CCTV kit features 5 Megapixel cameras which boast Super HD cameras and heat sensing PIR sensors. Know exactly what is happening at key locations of your home or business using the heat sensors that accurately detect people, pets, cars and other objects that give off heat. This will allow you to cancel out the notifications where wind has blown a tree in the frame and has caused an unnecessary motion alert to be sent to you. The 5 Megapixel cameras also feature night vision up to 30 metres and a 70-degree field of view which allows you to accurately monitor your home or business at all hours, day or night.
How much can I record with this CCTV kit?
Purchase the DVR in this CCTV kit with a preinstalled 2TB hard drive. Using this you can record and store footage directly to it and export anything you need urgently by plugging in an external hard drive or USB flash drive into one of the USB ports and navigating the menu using the included mouse. If some way down the line you find that a 2TB hard drive is not enough, you can even upgrade the hard drive up to 6TB. We recommend using a CCTV optimised drive. Thanks to its design simply add cameras to this kit as per your requirements.
Can I view the cameras remotely?
By downloading the HomeSafe view app from Swann, you can keep an eye on your home wherever you are. This is perfect for peace of mind whether you are at home or away – and even if you’re abroad. You can remotely connect to the DVR, getting a live video feed from each camera and the ability to play back stored recordings – all on your smartphone. The HomeSafe view app is compatible with iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows and Mac.
