WEEE
The european Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive aims to encourage recycling of electronic goods. As a retailer of electronic goods we are obliged to offer a recycling service whereby upon purchasing an item of an electronic nature i.e a computer, as a customer you can send us your old computer and we will dispose of it in accordance with the WEEE regulations. We do not charge for this service, but you must return the goods to us at your own cost (courier/post only) - please see below for details.

We are obliged to state the following government-produced information: According to the EU, unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.  If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health. To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

If you wish us to recycle your old electrical goods (you must have purchased an equivalent item from us within 28 days) you can send your item to us at the following address:

You must send the item(s) to us at your own cost and ensure you include the order number of your equivalent purchase. For insurance reasons, we can not accept WEEE goods returned directly to us, you must send the item(s) either via the post or courier.

Local Recycling
We recommend you take your old/unwanted electrical goods to a local recycling centre. Recycling locally gives you the advantage of a) not having to pay to return your unwanted/old goods and b) you can recycle any of your old items, not just items for which you have purchased a new equivalent.
